MEET THE AUTHOR

Javier Chavez is an author and motivational speaker who writes with humor, passion, and most importantly, honesty. When Javier was born with cerebral palsy, his mother didn't hesitate to move them from Mexico to the U.S. in pursuit of a cure. He grew up and received an education in California, but the best teacher he's had has always been his mother, Lupe. Javier and his mother now live in Bakersfield, California where Javier likes to spend quality time with family and friends, play poker with his nephews, and listen to Spanish music while working in his home office.
